As Bill Watkinson's webmaster, and someone who has known Bill for many years, I asked Bill to describe himself for you, the visitor to his site. I have done this many times with
realtors and they never seem to have trouble "telling me the facts". But over time I have come to realize that you, the person reading this, are probably less interested in
hearing a long boring list of facts that read like a resume and are more interested in finding information "about the person" and how they will treat you.
Will they talk all the time or will they listen to you? Will they try to convince you to buy a house that is above your budget or will they help you to find your personal dream home
at a price you can easily afford?
What you really want is someone's honest opinion of Bill as a person. I can tell you that in my opinion Bill is a kind man and he listens with a big heart.
Bill has the credentials, but he does not believe in tooting his own horn. Bill has had a career in real estate as a Real Estate Appraiser and Licensed Real Estate Broker and knows the
real estate market. I asked his wife to describe "Bill, the real person" for you.
From Lynn Watkinson;
"I see Bill as a humble man who is not boastful about his gifts and talents. That's what initially attracted me to him, when we first started dating. He made me feel special
and did everything to please me. He is other centered--not self centered. I felt special and loved deeply.
Bill has a servant's heart and is willing to stop what he is doing and help whenever asked. He is willing to go the extra mile to support and encourage others.
Bill is kind and courteous and very generous with his time in helping others. He takes a day a week to drive to Sarasota and spend the day with his invalid Uncle, so his elderly Aunt
can go out and have some time for herself.
Bill loves children and waves and or talks to children when he is out and about town. This was also attractive to me, when I first met Bill. My friends commented on how loving he was
to little children and saw that as a good quality in a potential husband.
On the back of Bill's business cards is printed a Proverb: Be careful how you think...Your life is shaped by your thoughts. Bill believes in the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would
have them do unto you. He practices these beliefs in all of his daily affairs.
On his desk in his office is a sailboat inscribed: The man who walks with God always get to his destination. Bill is a man of God and truly cares about others before himself. I am grateful
that God answered my prayers for a husband who loved God first and would love me after God. I am a very blessed woman to be married to my husband, Bill."
